Are we crazy......

America is a democracy check. American's decide things by private voting check. Life is sometimes not fair check. Privacy when voting check. Tune into what we want to on the radio and tv check. Can you see where I am going with this? If not that is ok. I am just shocked about two new things that people are actually debating about, when there is no common sense and ethics in even proposing them. I am talking about two things:

The Employee Free Choice Act:
If you don't know what it is please check out this ridiculous non-American idea. Go figure it was proposed by the labor unions. This is there last desperate attempt to stay relevant and they could take down most well run American companies. PLEASE VOTE THIS DOWN POLITICIANS! The unions are giving money they did not earn to politicians to get this to pass. Mark my words if thing passes that will be the beginning of the end.

The Fairness Doctrine:
This is where TV and Radio have to have fair coverage of the mainly R's and D's. Last time I checked TV and Radio were businesses and were in it to make money based on what produces revenue. Having a law or the government dictate what will be on the airwaves seems a little Hugo Chavezish. I know that might be extreme, but come on. We have the freedom to choose who we listen to and watch lets keep it that way.

This is a common sense perspective not a dem or rep. Please lets keep some common sense around and not sell out to the highest bidder for freedoms. Please have a good honest discussion with your representatives about not even considering these two things as legitimate. Please encourage them not to accept money from people that want these things passed. They are not appropriate and frankly govern from a perspective of a minority group (i use minority in the terms of smaller group of people, not race, religion, etc.). These will not help the majority of Americans from all walks of life.

Donate to Free Arts Minnesota

Hey Pulling Tin fans I have added a new little feature that can really help out a lot of children in the state of Minnesota. I want to tell you about the organization that I have the privilege of serving on their Board of Directors. This organization's name is Free Arts Minnesota (www.freeartsminnesota.org).

Free Arts Minnesota has a wonderful mission to give at-risk and abused children access to therapeutic art programming and positive adult mentorship to break the cycle of chaos. Free Arts Minnesota offers and facilitates programming to give these children a little peace and positive influence within that chaos.

Please try out our new widget. It is our "Donate Button". we have made it easy to donate online. Also if you would like to come to our annual luncheon in Nov on the 18th send an email to keith.javascript:void(0)privette@gmail.com and I will send you an invite to get you registered.
